Sometimes when we buy and use commercial facial masks, we tend to get some adverse results if we have sensitive skin. But, you also need facial masks to pamper your skin every week to keep your skin in tip top condition. What is the next best alternative? To create a home made facial treatment mask with natural ingredients of course! You need to feed your face with the right nutrients to nourish it back to beauty. Chances are, we're not sure what to add in as the key ingredient to our homemade facial masks. Or sometimes, we're afraid we might experiment with the wrong ingredients resulting in our skin flaring up. However, I have just the most pampering homemade facial mask that is au natural. It leaves your skin soft and supply and abundantly moisturized. You will love it as much as I do.
Hydrating Oatmeal Mask
This mask is infused with the goodness of
oatmeal, honey, wheatgerm oil and yogurt. All these ingredients are key to beauty. Plus, it's really simple to make and you probably already have all these ingredients in your own kitchen.
Ingredients
3 tbs of plain yogurt
4 tbs of oatmeal
2 tbs of honey or beeswax
2 tsp of wheat germ oil
Directions
Mix all ingredients until you make a rich paste. Apply it generously over the face. Do not worry if the mask is runny. The honey will eventually help the mask to stay on the face long enough for the ingredients to do their magic. For best results, keep the mask on for at least 20 mins till when you're ready to wash it off with water(you don't need to use a cleanser). In fact, this mixture is really good enough for you to eat.
