Finally, the answer to radiant skin is here
After airing that out, I would like to say that I'm falling in love with The Body Shop's Vitamin C Plus Time Release Capsules. You know how much I love this brand and how I gush about them. I just love how natural their products are and they are wallet-friendly too. I've decided to try out this Vitamin C capsules as I've heard Vitamin C's all the rage in skincare for so long and I've yet to try it. Plus, I don't want to risk buying a more expensive Vitamin C skincare product from other brands and risking any bad reactions with my skin. Naturally, The Body Shop would be my first choice as to date, I've not had any negative reactions using any of their products. That's amazing as I have really temperamental skin and I easily get skin tantrums without any warning. Scary.
How to use the Vitamin C capsules?
These Vitamin C capsules come in a little jar with 28 capsules for a 1 month treatment for more radiant skin. You simply have to twist the end to snap off and squeeze contents onto your fingertips and apply to your face. I give it 2 thumbs up for its packaging as it's clean, user friendly and the capsules will prevent any oxidization of the Vitamin C in it. Just to be on the safe side, I actually keep my jar of Vitamin C capsules away from any direct sunlight. I like the biggest bang for my buck :) Basically, you use 1 capsule every night. It's best adviced to use the capsules at night so it will not oxidize when Vitamin C is exposed to sunlight. I didn't need to use any moisturizer afterwards.
Note: After using the 28 capsules, let your skin rest for 1 month before resuming the next treatment. Your face needs a little rest since you're putting on pure Vitamin C and it has a clever time release system that steadily delivers pure Vitamin C to your skin. This is 'insider information' I've received.
Texture
I love the texture of the Vitamin C , it's very light and velvety smooth when applied to my skin. It sinks right in. The first time when I applied it, I was double checking whether have I applied it properly as I don't feel it at all. Then it just dawned on me that I'm so used to using heavy night creams at night. It's a much welcomed light feeling. Definitely no clogging of pores nor any breakouts.
The Results?
Without trying to sound too enthusiastic, but it really, really works! It has charmed even the toughest cynic in me. It really has lived up to what it promises. I've realised that my skin is so much more radiant. I'm actually very tanned but my skin looks so fresh and clear just like how it was erm... decades ago. I've never known my skin could be that radiant. It has faded off most of my post acne scars since my major acne breakout about 1 year back. My skintone is even with no blemishes and I'm really, really in heaven. I've noticed that my skin is so much softer. I've always had enviable soft skin but I could really see a difference in the softness of my skin. It's really amazing. To describe how my skin looks like after using the 28 capsules, it's like how your skin looks like when you take picture and overexpose the lights for that pseudo perfection look. Yeah, that's me, of course I'm exagerrating alittle there, but you know what I mean.
And all these are made possible due to it's wonderful key ingredients
For those who love reading ingredients:
It has ascorbic acid, a stable form of Vitamin C which is the best way for your skin to absorb it's goodness. It has Vitamin E, another fantastic anti-oxidant for the skin. I'm currently also loving this Vitamin E skincare range, complete with cleanser, serum and moisturizer. The capsules also contain blackcurrant and Brazil nut oils, rich in essential fatty acids to help moisturize and protect the skin. We love all these goodies and lovely antioxidants. Yay!
This product is currently inducted into my Holy Grail for skincare. It's no surprise that it's Body Shop's best selling product too. If you want radiant skin, the answer is in The Body Shop's Vitamin C Plus Time Release Capsules
