My pore-fect Idealist: Monday Discoveries

Remember my very recent self tanner disaster that turned me completely orange? Well, something good actually came out of that. I've discovered a winner amongst the many exfoliators that I have. This ideal little bottle actually helps to tarnish the horrible orange tan and save me from the fate of the Oompa Loompa's. Nothing can convince me otherwise that this multi-tasking exfoliator is the best that I've every tried. This exfoliator is also a great multi-tasker, I'll tell you why very soon. This ideal bottle is none other than Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and it's hello to clear and radiant skin. The fact that it could minimize my self tanning disaster really does say something about it's effectiveness. To be honest, in the beginning, I was quite hesistant to use the Idealist since I don't actually have any problems with my pore size. So, I reckoned I didn't need any help from it. Hah, let's just say I'm so glad I've used it anyway. After the Idealist, I have no idea how much better my skin could look with virtually non-visible pores!

It's amazing, I'm telling you.

The Idealist is a multitasker. Not only is it a good exfoliator and pore minimizer, it's also a non acid based skin refinisher. A plus point for those who are sensitive to acid-based skin refinishers. Idealist has 3 times more glucosamine than it's previous formulation, which helps to dissolve all the pore-clogging gunk that leaves you with a dull visage. The texture of the serum is lightweight and has a nice fresh scent, something like a citrusy lemon sorbet, if you must. Perfect as a pick-me-up to start pff the day. It's safe to use for all skin types and it also benefits those who are prone to blemishes. Skin feels absolutely soft and velvety and never sticky. Did I also mention Idealist comes in a very pretty aqua bottle that's both very chic and prevents oxidization?

I use it only in the A.M even if the instructions say to use it AM and PM. I reserve PM for it's brethren - the amazing little brown bottle. I love, love, love the results Idealist gives me. I've indicted Idealist and the little brown bottle to my holy grail for skincare - and it's carved in stone. You should get yourself one too!
