The best of Lancome lipstick

Just a little follow up to Lancome's Le Rouge Absolu - Proenza Pink, as expected, it has sold out completely. There is no way you can buy Proenza Pink anymore. Limited edition remember?

Well, just to refresh your memory, I find Le Rouge Absolu-Proenza Pink makes me look as if somebody has locked me up in the freezer for eternity and lost the key too. No kidding. The whitish pink color is just too light for my semi tanned skin. Now, I'm wondering, if that is the case, how come there are still so many others who are fighting tooth and nail to get it? Is it because it's limited edition or is it because it's a designer color? Or could it be an in-thing to have the Proenza Pink for the moment?

However, more importantly I have found the absolutely perfect lipstick color from Lancome. It's beautiful and I simply adore it. You must be wondering what is my perfect shade of lipstick. My recommendation is none other then:

Lancome Rouge Absolu - No. 277 Beige Or. I love the color since I'm a huge fan of earth tones and neutral colors. It doesnt dry out my lips as the ingredients here are very moisturizing. Simply love that. It has an ingenius satin shine effect on the lips after one application. Little tip, with a satiny finish, it helps to camouflage fine lines on lips. After a long day's use, it still doesnt feather around the lip lines. (I absolutely hate that when it happens) And you don't have to worry about it caking on your lips. Eew, another thing I absolutely dislike.

On the other hand, If you want a fresh and carefree look, opt for a lipgloss. It is lightweight on your lips and gives you a subtle hint of color for that fresh radiant look. I personally like lipgloss for casual use. My recommendation is definitely Lancome 3 Juicy Tubes Lip Gloss Set - Fruity Licious ( # 15 Cerise # 17 Fraise # 22 Melon ) They come in 3 yummy colors, Cherry, Strawberry and Melon. They look great on your lips, smells great and almost looks good enough to eat. Trust me, after using these yummy lip gloss, my lips look so much plumper for that beautiful pout - minus the collagen :P



I swear by this 3 color pack because you won't be bored with just one boring color, you can mix and choose to follow your color code of the day! Also, I'm pretty fickle, so this works out just fine for me. I'm sure it does for you too.

I have to admit, I'm the biggest fan of lip gloss and lipsticks. I never leave home without one. On days when I feel lazy and sluggish, I will only wear my lipgloss and I'm good to go. You just have to try it, it works like a miracle :)
