Best of the 66th Annual Golden Globes Awards 2009
1) Heidi Klum - 80's Retro Glam
Heidi is neither presenter nor nominee at the Golden Globes, neither is she wearing the 'traditional' gown. But, she sure looks like she's having so much fun. Love the big satin rose on her waistline on this superb Galanos dress. Aren't you lemming for those shoes? It's Christian Louboutin of course!
Love the shimmer in the corner of her eyes, perfectly bringing out her eyes. Love the red lip, so bold and blends well with her 80's retro glam look.
2) Kate Winslet - Perfection Personafied
Kate Winslet looks perfect in that strapless YSL gown So elegant and beautiful. Love the rich satin hue on her gown and that velvet bow belt really shows off her great figure.
Her makeup? Flawless! Peaches and cream complexion with a pair of bold eyebrows. Soft blush to add a healthy glow and lovely, lovely coral lips. She spots amazing cat eyes and one of the few celebs not spotting the smokey eye look. How refreshing!
3) Eva Mendes - Best Accessories and Best Hairdo
Love Eva and her gorgeous white strapless Dior gown looks amazing against her tanned skintone. She wore the loveliest accessories with that beautiful Van Cleef & Arpels turquoise and diamond necklace with matching ring too!
Her loosely tousled bun is so Eva and just so gorgeous.
Her nude makeup keeps her looking naturally beautiful except she should have had more undereye concealer for a fresher look.
4) Drew Barrymore - Vintage Hollywood Beauty
Ok, some of you are totally hating Drew's hair and how she looks, but come on, cut her some slack. I think she has successfully channeled vintage Hollywood beauty with her look on the red carpet.
I adore her off shoulder blue Dior gown, which shows off her beautiful figure. Love how cute her satin red clutch is. Her diamond bracelet is spectacular.
Her makeup is refreshing. Love her sweep of blue eyeshadow on her heavily lined eyes, yet the blue is not too matchy matchy with the dress. Her candy colored lips makes her so sweet yet sexy. Love her peach blush too.
Now her controversial hair, yes lots of people are hating it. I think the concept of her hair is lovely but it should be refined abit more. Enough said!
5) Olivia Wilde - Ethereal Princess
Olivia Wilde looks so ethereal and pretty in this lavendar Reem Acra gown. She sure seems to adore Reem Acra like her 2008 Emmy Awards look. Her gown looks so soft and light you just simply cannot NOT love it!
Her makeup is refreshingly light and plays with the lavendar color palette, with lavendar eyeshadow over defined eyes. Pretty bronze blush to highlight her beautiful high cheekbones. A dust of bronzing powder over her forehead, sides of her face, and she looks absolutely stunning paired with soft lips.
Now, honourable mentions for other celebs who looked fabulous on that night: Blake Lively, Megan Fox and Kate Beckinsale
