Rocking the Rocky Balboa Look this Christmas

Merry christmas everybody!! I hope everyone had a fabulous time and indulged in some after Christmas sales :) I have been indulging in more ways than one, satisfying my sweet tooth and filling my glass with the bubblies. And I actually think looking like Rocky Balboa can be pretty too *wink*

This Christmas, I'm actually down with a strange allergy which makes my right eye swollen. I look like Rocky Balboa after getting a good pounding in the ring, I swear. Now, I just have to put on a grey jumpsuit *wink* But, people, to my own surprise, I didn't fret about my allergy nor make a big hue and cry about it. I didn't even feel the need to crawl into a hole and hibernate till the allergy is gone. Instead, I was up and about, visiting friends and family and enjoying the festivities. For those who knows me well enough, you know is's almost impossible! I'm always the one making a big fuss over any beauty calamity, and worse still during the holiday season. And here I am, calm and serene and happy as ever.

[PS: Maybe all these calmness and happiness could be the result of my sister spiking my drinks!]

To be honest, I thought the swelling on my right eye was .... pretty. Before you think I've lost it, let me explain. The swelling was there and rather obvious but it didn't look ugly at all. Just look like I have a chubby right eye. I can't really explain it, but it's definitely not horrible, not pretty but ok...bearable. Furthermore, it's Christmas, it's the best time of the year and I don't want to let an allergy spoil my holidays. Plus, I have so much to be thankful for this year. At least I'm not suffering from any war, famine, natural disaster nor disease. I'm really thankful for that! An allergy on the right eye is nothing compared to what other less misfortunate people around the world are going through!
