The Secret to Beautiful Hair Is in Global Goddess
Global Goddess has a winner called Global Goddess' Coconut Amla Revitalizing Hair Treatment.. I'm seriously having a big crush on this brand. This coconut amla oil does magic on my hair. It helps to revitalize hair by adding lustre, shine and softness to hair. It also helps to keep my hair clean for days. I'm the type who needs to wash my hair everyday, but since using the coconut amla oil, I'm embarrased to say that I only wash my hair 3 days apart. Yet, my hair is still clean and luscious. My hair is so gorgeously smooth like those of hair models in shampoo commercials! To prove to myself that it's not a placebo effect, I've decided to carry out some proof of tests on this coconut amla oil.
BFF's test
Test #1 - I went out with my BFF and she commented that my hair looked good. Then I revealed my big secret, I've not washed my hair! Remember I'm those obsessed with washing my hair EVERYDAY. She was shocked of course but intrigued. Guess, this product really makes a big difference to my hair. Also, it helps to save ALOT of my grooming time as I spend the most time on my hair.
3rd party test
On another separate occasion, my 2 gym buddies and I went for a steam bath after gym. I usually like to use hair treatments to make full use of the hot steam. (You should try it too.) So, back to the story, I shared the coconut amla oil with them and we steamed ourselves while getting our hair treated. The verdict, they loved the product. They commented how smooth their hair became and their hair just look so much more healthier.
Strangers' test
I've been receiving compliments about my hair of late. I'm seriously being noticed *wink* While at the ladies, I too get compliments for my hair. The most flattering compliments usually are those made by fellow ladies. I feel like the new age Rapunzel.
As you see, this product really, really works miracles for hair. Another reason why I love is this product is just how natural the ingredients are. This product's inspiration comes from the thick luscious locks of exotic Indian beauties. The star ingredient in this hair treatment is amla, or the Indian Gooseberry, which has the richest natural source of Vitamin C.
Here are the list of ingredients:
Coconut Oil: nourishesHow to use the coconut amla oil?
Neem Oil: soothes scalp
Amla Extract: rejuvenates
Henna: adds volume and shine
Grape Seed Oil: protects
Avocado Oil: moisturizes scalp
I like to do weekly oil massage on my scalp. It's very relaxing and really helps to soothe my stressed out hair. I like to massage in the oil from root to ends and leave on for 30 mins before I head for a shower. For a deeper treatment, you can opt to massage in the oil and leave it on overnight. For those on the go, you can simply massage in the oil while at the shower for about 15 minutes then shampoo and condition your hair as usual.
The only setback would be the smell. Some may find the coconut-ey smell alittle too overpowering but I think it's just fine. Another would be the price. It's priced at $45, may be alittle pricey for some but I guess all apprehension melts away after seeing how healthy your hair looks. Not convinced, try running your hand through your hair. But it still beats trying out so many other hair treatments that just don't cut it.
Oh, did I also mention that it doubles up as a great moisturizer for your hands and legs too? You can really count on Global Goddess!
