Good Riddance to Bikini Bumps and Irritations
Coincidentally, I was lucky to receive a cream especially for the bikini zone area from Beauty Chat . The cream is aptly named Bikini Zone. For those of you who's figured out that my real intentions for my bikini wax today was purely to try out this cream, yup, you've guessed it right! Guilty as charged.
Look before you screw
...applies here. Basically, it has a child safety lock which I wasn't aware off and I was like an idiot trying to pop the cap off. Anyhow, I'm glad there is a safety lock as it's a medicated creme afterall and prevents any accidental ingestion of the creme, especially if you have ankle biters at home.
Texture
Today is a fumbling day for me, coz I spilled some of the creme when I first squeezed the tube. It was a translucent and runny formula. Totally unexpected as I thought it would be a creme texture. It does absorb immediately after application and dries off just as quickly. It didn't stain my lingerie either, thankfully. No greasy feeling too. Plus points!!
Lived up to its claims or bombed?
Definitely a resounding YES! I have to say, it really, really works. Right after applying Bikini Zone, immediately, the area doesn't feel sore anymore. I could almost hear my bikini area sigh with relief after using Bikini Zone. Almost. The intensity of the redness has diminished substantially but there is still some visible redness. But I'm really impressed how well it works. I've only need to apply it once and didn't need to reapply. But you could use it up to 4 times daily, if the need arises.
Give Bikini Zone a try coz it's really fantastic. It's much better than Tendskin, which is normally popular amongst salons.
Another word of advice: If you have a low threshold of pain, the best time for a bikini wax will be after your menstruation. Your bikini area will not be so sensitive. Never, ever get waxed just before your menstruation, it really hurts more that time. I go by this rule when waxing, try it and see.
