Global Goddess Boho Exotic Eyes Review
This Boho Exotic Eyes set comes with an eyeshadow duo that's very universally neutral and safe colors to wear. There is the Maharani Rose which is a very flattering peachy pink color and Rajah Brown, a medium brown for a nice contrast. they are nice, but fairly boring colors. Would be more lovely for some bright colors especially for coming Summer. The 3 Kajal eyeliner comes in Chai Tea which is a neutral brown, Sapphire Stone - a deep persian blue and of course India Ink in black. It's perfect for beauty junkies like me, who could never have enough of colors and can never make up my mind on which color to use. The Sultry Lash Mascara is in Sultry Black. Most interesting part is, it comes with a pair of very pretty false eyelashes complete with its adhesive. I'm absolutely delighted!
I must admit that I very rarely use blue eye liner nor brown eyeliner. I've always loved black eyeliners. Anyway, I've decided to give them a go. I've tried the Chai Tea (Brown) eye liner and it's a great look for day wear, not too dramatic and a softer look. It defines the eyes nicely and the pencil tip is soft so it glides easily over the eyes. It doesn't pull nor drag the skin. Also, with pencil eyeliners it's easier to smudge the lines for a well-blended look. Next, I've used the Sapphire Stone (Blue) eyeliner and immediately fell in love with it. Also, in this Spring fever, I've totally fallen head over heels with blue color of different shades. I have no idea why, so it's a no brainer that I totally love this Sapphire Stone. I think the color adds subtle glamour instead of very typical black eyeliners, not that I don't already love them black. Sapphire Stone is a dark Persian blue but it's suitable for both day and night wear. Very trendy, I would say. It makes your eye makeup look so effortlessly done yet impeccable. The India Ink (Black) is exactly how a black eyeliner should be. I say, the eyeliners are first class, soft tips, easy to apply and they stay in place from morning till evening. They did last so long without rubbing off easily.
The mascara comes with a wand with fat bristles at the applicator's end. I think its lovely, it makes putting on mascara so much easier and quicker. Makes it a perfect choice when you're running late in the mornings. The mascara doesnt make your eyelashes clump together, something I absolutely hate and they dry off quickly too. I would have preferred them in waterproof instead. Especially during hot summer weather, waterproof is way better to avoid running mascara for that not-so-sexy 'raccoon eyes'. But, kudos for the fact that it's so easy to apply compared to small bristled mascara applicators. Also, this Boho Exotic Eyes Set would be better if it comes with an eyelash curler too. That would be superbly convenient.
Next, its the false eyelashes. I very rarely use them, but it's a real treat to discover them in this brilliant eye makeup set. The adhesive sticks on quite well and lasts throughout the day, with no embarassing 'accidents' . Also, my advice is, trim the fake eyelashes according to the size of your eyes for a perfect fit. Trim the eyelashes just a wee bit shorter than your actual eye length for a more natural look and it would be more comfortable to wear. Remember to curl the fake eyelashes for crazily sexy lashes!
Oh, to top off this brilliant eye set, there are some personal quick tips for sexy sultry eyes in the packaging by Shalini Vadhera herself. What a treat! If you want to know what are the tips, be really nice to me and I may divulge *wink*
You would love this Boho Exotic Eyes Set as much as I adore it. It's redefining Boho: 'Where Bollywood meets Hollywood'. Every beauty junkie should get this right away!
[PS: My camera in my mobile really doesnt do the colors and packaging justice. The colors are more vibrant than those in the pictures]
