BET Awards 08 best dressed: Beauty Shoutout
The Sophisticated Beauty
My, my, my, Jennifer Hudson absolutely looks stunning in this dress. The body-hugging dress accentuates her every womanly curves. Love this look on her.
However, I very much prefer her with long, tousled hair. I reckon, if she wants to go for a blunt-cut do, she should have done the Parisian bob instead.
She's got a nice matching clutch too. Love the fact that she didn't adorn her neck with any bling. So, all attention is on her sweet, sweet dress.
You just must love this Dreamgirl!
The Classic Beauty
Angela Lola Luv is picture perfect with this classic black dress getup. Usually I don't really like ruffles but she really pulls it off well. She wears a matching pair of ankle strapped shoes and adorns herself with a chunky necklace for accessories. Simple yet chic
She completes the classic red carpet look with a side-swept low bun. Nicely defined dramatic eyes for that Hollywood siren look.
This video vixen is a classic beauty on the red carpet
Lil Kim really deserves the spot for one of the best dressed in this deep purple gown. The gown's silhouette flatters her curvacious figure. Sexy but definitely not nasty. Have you noticed how gorgeous the color looks on her skintone?
Did you miss her pumps? She's gotta have one of the most gorgeous pair of pumps on the red carpet. It's to die for. Also, a cute designer purse to complete her look. Classy yet drop dead sexy.
Her makeup is flawless. I love how her eyelashes look like they're going on forever. Love her matching lip color. Lil Kim toned down her outlook with very simple hair. Her hair is styled shiny and sleek. Reminds me of Beyonce's famous tresses
Coolest Glam Girl
Don't get me wrong, Danella looks flawless in this black, free-flowing halter gown. It's got pretty printed florals on this gorgeous sheer dress. The halter gown emphasizes her ample figure beautifully.
The gown flows right down, gently brushing the red carpet as she catwalks. Very dreamy and totally red carpet worthy. Too bad for us, we couldn't see which shoes Danella has worn for the event.
Danella looks extremely radiant with perfect makeup in place. Love her jet black soft curls cascading down her neckline. Armed with a sunny smile and a picture-perfect pose, she gets two thumbs up from moi
The Summer Princess
In my books, Ri-Ri could do no wrong. She looks gorgeous and simply stunning in this canary-yellow gown with very pretty layers. She exudes nothing but summer sexiness. The dress looks vibrant, feminine and young.
Ri-Ri's makeup is more sophisticated and dramatic. Works well to balance out her fresh-looking choice of dress dress. She went with dramatic eyes AND bold red lips and managed to look beautiful and not too over the top. She really can carry off any look.
Her hair is always fashionable, never out of place. I'm usually a fan of long hair but Ri-Ri is really swaying me to the shorter side.
The Leggy Beauty
Cassie wore an adorable mod mini dress in pink. Her dress is simple but cute. Did it occur to you that she looks really hot in this ensemble? could it be her little pink clutch or her bangles? No, ladies and gentleman, Cassie's accessories are her pair of beautifully toned legs. She's got really mile-long legs and they're really hot. I would die to have perfect gams like these.
However, I don't like her hair here. She would have sizzled even more with a loose up-do, accentuating her neckline. Her neckline sort of disappears into her dress. However, with legs like these, everything is forgiven
Young and vibrant crew
I only have this to say: 3 Barbie Dolls and 1 Kent. Enough said *wink*
And one particularly distinguished gentleman deserves a mention for my list of best dressed. He's none other than Ne-Yo. Check this cool cat out
The coolest cat in town
Ne-Yo is looking mighty hot in this ensemble. Looking suave and formal yet doesn't lose the very essence of Ne-Yo.
