Beauty Pet Peeve: Facial Mask Sheets

I have a rather high tolerance threshold for beauty products in so far as I know. I don't mind even if they smell weird or has coloring in it, just as long as they work well for my skin. However, there is one pet peeve that really gets me all riled up. It's how messy and crinkled face mask (sheet types) appears on me when I apply it to my face. It just gets to me.

Have you ever wondered how those models pictured on those face mask (sheet types) advertisements, look so perfect. Without a single crease or wrinkle on the face mask after applicaion. They look neat and just picture perfect?

Well, the truth is, ladies and some of you boys; in real life, those face masks do NOT fit well at all. They are always much larger and it's all creased and a total mess during use. I always need to tie all my hair up to avoid touching the face mask. And my face mask is ALWAYS all crinkled to contour it around my face.

Maybe, just maybe, these models have super large faces or what? Can I have a decent face mask without messing up? Can I use the face mask without scaring the daylights of any unsuspecting people around? I wish facial masks come in sizes just like how we choose our clothes. It's only reasonable since we have different sized faces. Come on, it can't be that I'm the only one who is having this problem with facial masks. 'Fess up, people!

Some more proof that these models for facial masks have 'giganormous' faces or do they just have faces built for facial masks. Hmm...

[Note to all skincare manufacturers: Please make face masks, those sheet types, that comes with sizes. So, it's at our peril to choose our own mask sizes wisely. Any mess later, would be our own fault due to bad judgement. I would love to have face masks in sizes like XS, S, M, L and XL. Thank you for your listening ear :)]

Aah... after getting that off my chest, I feel much better. Anyway, life goes on. For now, I've switched to gel masks or those wipe-off masks. More convenient and easy to use. Till then I'll keep my fingers, eyes and toes crossed for facial mask sheets in sizes!
