The best make up is definitely the smoky eye and nude lip style. Nothing looks more sultry and smoldering than the smoky eye, paired with a pair of glossy nude lip. A light smoky eye never goes out of style and is the epitome of sexiness. It's the perfect look for a night out.

If you are unsure how to create a smoky eye effect, look no further, here you can find easy-to- follow tips from makeup experts, not one but two.

According to Christina Bartolucci, use an eye shadow that has a lot of pigment in a deep tone like gray, plum, dark blue, purple, etc. Apply the shadow from the lash line to the crease, and with your fingers, smudge the shadow into just the crease and slightly above it. Using a dark cream eye liner, line the upper and lower lash lines, and then smudge these lines, to achieve the amount of “smokiness” you desire. Finish with two coats of black mascara, and complete the look with a neutral-toned lip gloss.

You can try out Helena Rubinstein Spider Eye Mascara Base as the base coat before you apply your mascara. I feel that it helps to strengthen my lashes because I don't find many of my lashes stuck on the mascara wand as I have experienced before. Also, my lashes are more visibly magnified & lengthened. It's really good news for me, because I'm not blessed with long luscious lashes. Adds new glam to my eyes.

To top it off, I use Lancome L' Extreme Mascara - No. 01 Noir Stretch. I chose black for extra glamour and a more dramatic effect to my eyes, that's the whole point, ain't it?

Ayako tipped, to create a smoke eye, use a base of cream eyeshadow, and then layer a matching powder eyeshadow, in black, grey or brown, depending on the color of your dress. She added, you can also finish the eye with a metallic eyeshadow to make it look even sexier and more prominent, and add false eyelashes for a dramatic appeal. For lips, use NARS Lipstick in Belle de Jour (of course, Ayako :P), which is a beautiful, nude lip color that works on everyone.
